Over
the years, our favorite beverage brand have come up with some very
interesting
marketing initiatives, ranging from simple advertisements
to free vending machines that dispense Coke when you hug it.

The
most recent effort from Coke comes in conjunction with Uniqlo… Yes, you read it
right. UNIQLO!
In
Coke’s latest venture, new and upcoming designers from all over the world were
able to showcase their talent by submitting designs for t-shirts that showed
Coca-Cola in a positive light.
We
made a trip down to Bugis +, formerly known as Iluma, and managed to find the
winning designs that were manufactured and sold by Uniqlo.

The
winner stands to win up to US$10,000!! That’s a LOT of money!
Rather
impressive how a single marketing effort benefited both Coca-Cola and Uniqlo.
This
year’s competition gained a lot of attention. A total of 6,288 entries were
submitted from 72 countries! Must have been a REALLY difficult job for the
judges to pick the top 10!
Singaporeans
were able to pick out their favorite Coke tees from any Uniqlo outlet from
June 2012. Not to worry, it’s still on sale. Go grab yours!
Reasonably
priced at SGD$24.90 apiece, one sees no reason not to purchase one soon!
